This engagement session with Hayley & KJ was one of my favorite engagement sessions to date! They booked their wedding with me at the end of 2022. Their wedding is going to be in Wilmington as well in August 2023. Wilmington is their special place to of course they had to do their engagement session there! I was completely down for traveling from Greensboro NC to Wilmington because who doesn’t love the beach?
I took this opportunity to book a hotel for that night and bring my husband along with me! I actually put him to work as taking behind the scenes videos for me and he did a great job!
Hayley & KJ wanted to go to 3 different locations for their engagement session and I’m such an adventurer so I was here for it. We went Downtown Wilmington first and just walked around taking pictures wherever we saw a cool or pretty spot. It was supposed to be a cloudy day so we all were so excited when the sun came out as soon as we started the session. We then went to KJ’s uncles house to do some photos on his dock which was a super cute little spot. Lastly we went to Wrightsville Beach for golden hour & sunset photos!
Wrightsville Beach is absolutely gorgeous and pretty quiet. Hayley & KJ are so fun and easy to be around, we had amazing conversations and you could just feel their love for each other. I told them to just act like I wasn’t there and pretend like they were on a date. I will let the photos speak to this so check them out!
