the Process
Step 1: Let’s vibe first
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, I want to make sure we vibe. Why? Because working with a photographer isn’t just about snapping pretty pictures. It’s about feeling comfortable, connected, and ready to be your authentic self in front of the lens. We’ll chat over email, Zoom, or even in person (if you're local), and I’ll get to know you, your vision, and all the juicy details that’ll help make your session amazing.
Spoiler alert: If you like pizza, romance novels, or cracking jokes, we’re probably already BFFs.
Step 2: The prep work
Once we’ve decided we’re a perfect fit, I’ll send you a questionnaire—because, yes, I’m a little type-A about getting all the details right. This is where you tell me everything I need to know about your wedding, elopement, or session. You’ll fill me in on your vision, what’s most important to you, and any specific shots you’re dying to have. Don’t worry, it’s not a boring homework assignment—it’s more like a fun way for me to get to know YOU. I’ll also help you prep for your session. Need outfit advice? Gotcha. Unsure about timing or lighting? I’m your girl. Basically, I’m here to make sure you feel 100% ready, relaxed, and excited for the big day!
Step 3: The big day!
Whether we’re capturing your wedding, an engagement session, or a fun family shoot, my goal is simple: keep things laid-back, natural, and most of all, FUN. No awkward posing here! I’ll give you some direction (I mean, I can’t help it, I love a good editorial shot), but mostly I’m here to capture the real, raw moments as they unfold. Think: belly laughs, stolen kisses, and all those little in-between moments you didn’t even know you wanted captured. And don’t worry, I’ll be hyping you up the whole time. You’ll leave the session feeling like a total rockstar—promise!
For portrait sessions, payment is split in half. 50% due at booking as the retainer fee and 50% due 1 week before the session date as final payment. Payment must be paid in full before your session date or I am not legally responsible to show up per my contract.
For weddings, I split the payments into four 25% payments. The first payment is due at booking and the last is due 1 month before the wedding date. For boudoir, I offer custom payment plans depending on your package selection.
During any session I have 2 SD cards in my cameras at all times, both writing the same images so that in case one SD card corrupts, the other card has the same images on it. As soon as I get home from a session, I back the images up to an external hard drive and also a cloud-based server. These images are kept there indefinitely. I keep the images on the SD cards until the full gallery is delivered.

This proposal includes a contract that protects us both and your invoice, to secure your date I require a 25% non refundable deposit.
