Rebekah & Mathews Wedding in Goldsboro, NC was absolutely beautiful. A sweet couple who’s Christian faith brought them together. I mean, just look at the images! They were meant to be! The whole day photographing this wedding I could feel all of the emotions, I always try to capture that as best as possible with my photos. The Cornealius Properties is a beautiful wedding venue in Goldsboro, NC. Their open siding style chapel is absolutely breath taking and makes such a special location for a wedding ceremony.
I started photographing when the bridal party was getting ready, I photographed them getting their hair and makeup done, the bride getting into her dress and then a very special group prayer where they prayed over the bride. It was very emotional but the images speak for themselves. The couple then had a first touch where they could not see each other but they were able to hold hands and read their private vows to each other. It’s so great when couples do this at weddings, it’s such a special moment all to themselves before they get married. There also isnt alot of time on your wedding day when you are able to be together alone.
The couple had a typical ceremony except for they added a super special touch, which was a foot washing ceremony. This Christian ceremony sybolizes being humble and willing to serve one another since this is what Jesus did for his disciples.
All of their family came together after the ceremony to a beautiful reception where there was a whole charcuterie spread, dessert table and coffee bar! They had a send off where everyone threw lavender at them and then they got in their getaway car to go to their honeymoon suite which is on the property.
